Dur is not a brave man and "adventurer" was never an occupation he dreamed of filling one day. Hard times though have forced him to accept anything that comes along, be it adventuring for his next meal or raiding the closest dumpster. He'd flee just as soon as he'd fight. However, his heart and a true enjoyment of helping those he can made him an adequate doctor and he would never leave an injured companion without help.
