Personality

Chastity is an interfering busybody who is constantly looking down on other people, particularly the party. She is never quite happy with the way things are going. Even when helping people or offering them sympathy, it is often tarnished with bitchy remarks about how they probably deserve to be in this situation because of their low morals or failure to obey church law. She is looks upon herself as the mother of the party, and is constantly reprimanding them for reckless behaviour, e.g. "Careful with that arrow, Clint, it could have someone's eye out" etc.

• She officiated at Austin and Lucy's wedding in Book V, Act II.
• In Book IV, Act Vthe party discovered that Chastity was worshipped as a Goddess in the South. Chastity reacted to this with her typical modesty and restraint.
